Las Vegas Baby!
I am in Las Vegas for a storage conference. This is my first trip to LV and it is, as I have heard, over the top. Tonight I am going to see "O" by Cirque du Soleil. I am staying at the Venetian and it is amazing. A very nice room. I will be back Friday (after touring the Hoover Dam) and will be glad. I like traveling but am spent after all that has happened in the last month and a half. Last weekend I spent at the Mazamas lodge at Government Camp on Mt. Hood. I took a mountaineering first aid class and we spent the weekend doing hands on scenarios. It was snowing!

Did you do any climbing out there? I was in Vegas for a conference as well in October, brought my crashpad with me and went bouldering for a day at Red Rocks. It was beautiful out there, but I did notice the really cool looking bright red sandstone is the softest of all, and it's hard to climb on it.
