End of the Holidays

Ah, it's Monday and there is snow on the mountain. One roommate is sleeping in, the other getting his snowboard ready. Me......I go in to work. I also worked yesterday, New Year's. Gotta love retail. I would like to go snowboarding but as the health insurance has not kicked in at my new job and I did not pay to keep my previous health insurance, I think it would be prudant for me to wait until I am covered before I venture up to Mt. Hood. If I get seriously injuried before Febuary I have told my friends to drag me into the car and run it into something. The holidays were fun. Spent the time in Georgia. Saw the Georgia aquarium last Thursday. That was really nice! They have two whale sharks which are beautiful. They are about 17 feet long and should double in length when they are full grown. Maybe I will go back next year to see them again. AS is evident by my blogging during work hours, I haven't gotten back into the whole "working" thing yet. Seems like not many others have either as I spent the better part of this morning in conversations about what people did during the holidays. I think I will read some news.
